Seasons Greetings

Christmas 2000

Dear Friends,

From TimeImmemorial Man has tried to define the good or happy life and, obviously, there are many factors involved. Successfully raising afamily, and particularly a supportive one, and achieving fulfillmentin one's work or profession are very important. Maintaining a happystate or frame or mind is paramount. Making a maximum effort to doone's very best is essential so that there will be no regrets.Treating everyone with respect and encouragement is also important asit adds to the circle of our friendships and adds additional meaningto our lives.

At the age offour score and ten I realize today more than ever before howimportant family and friends are, and how helpful they have been inmy life. They have not only enabled me to meet adverse circumstancesbut have been supportive at every turn and at every request.Traveling and working on behalf of social causes has provided me withthe opportunity of meeting many new friends, all of whom have givenme much happiness and inspiration. One cannot place a value onfriendships for they are incalculable. How true it is that "no man isan island unto himself." One cannot start too soon to acquirefriends.

De Grellitsaid "I shall pass through this world but once. If, therefore, through any kindness I can show, or any good I can do, let me notdefer nor neglect it for I shall not pass this way again."

Pat and I arethankful for our family and friends and wish you the best of thisSeasons Greetings, and our very Best Wishes for the Year 2001.
